• Setting of the Song: Geet (Kareena Kapoor), is an exuberant Punjabi girl. She becomes friendly with Aditya (Shahid Kapoor) during their journey from Mumbai to her family home in Punjab. After returning home, Geet learns that her family has chosen a groom for her. She already has a boyfriend whom she plans to marry without her family's consent or knowledge. She tries to contact her boyfriend but cannot, so she decides to run away from home and meet him in his hometown. Aditya, son of a rich industrialist, is having problems with his business and personal life. He is not ready to return home, so he decides to accompany Geet. This song plays during their journey.
